Adoption and DNA testing

Adoption can be a beautiful thing for the child, the birth parent(s) and the adoptive parent(s). DNA testing - you have to be prepared with everything that it may uncover. A lot of secrets may be revealed.

My first series of podcasts will be discussions on Adoptions, Good and Not So Good along how DNA testing, are you prepared for what secrets may be uncovered? These results can change everything that can affect the adoptee, the adoptee's family members, unknown blood relatives, etc. Ancestry.com, 23&me and other sites where you can do a DNA test and possibly find blood relatives that you did not know you had. How does that affect you? What do you do with that information? Are you ready to find that you may have close family members that you were not aware of? There is a lot of ground to cover, after the DNA test comes back with close family matches. How many new relatives can one person find? And some lighthearted funny stories, to break things up.
